The Surprise and Delight for the day was a stop at a distillery on a gigantic piece of farmland...down a loooong dirt driveway. It didn't seem right to sample whiskey and other spirits at 11:00 but when you are with hundreds of lunatics...why not?
The evening event was held at the B&O Railway museum. It was .9 miles from the hotel and the clerk told us we couldn't walk there....well we'd show him! That's a short stroll! So, we cleaned up and first walked to Baltimore's Inner Harbor just to check it out. We didn't have time to do more that enjoy the view...and it was HOT and muggy...but we turned around and walked all the way back past the Holiday Inn Inner Harbor and toward the Museum. Once we crossed MLK Blvd we understood that the clerk meant we SHOULDN'T walk to the Museum...not that we couldn't!! Woo boy it was a little rough...right out of Wired...but we made it! When it was time to leave the museum we used an Uber driver and it was worth the 5.95 cents!!!
