Sunday Fun SoCal Style

After we had a slow morning that involved washing the road grime off of ourselves and washing clothes we let Susan chauffeur us around for a bit of sight seeing.  We headed to Seal Beach and took in the sights of the sand and the surf.  The ony SNAFU in that plan was the fact that it was Sunday and it was hot.  So, all of the residents of this area seemed to have the same idea.  We drove around for a long time just trying to find a place to park....but eventually we landed and took a stroll on the Seal Beach Pier.

We came home and met up with Susan's friend that's a boy, John.  It was dinner time but we made a couple of stops.   First we went to Four Sons Brewery where we sampled some brews including the Peanut Butter And Banana Cream Ale!!  They do not serve food at Four Sons so we drove over to Huntington Beach Beer Company.  It wasn't about the beer it was all about the location.  We were on a 2nd floor deck overlooking a very busy pedestrian intersection.  This was California beach life!!

After eating we took a long walk on the Huntington Beach Pier and found that the Van's Surfing competition was in town...now THAT's exciting!!  We also saw dome dolphins cavorting in the ocean!!  By then we were beat...home and bed were calling.
