S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y-Night...and Day

Saturday Night we passed on the evening event and instead met up with my boy Al and Colleen.  They live in North Dakota but were in town in Minneapolis to see the Indians plat the Twins...so that worked out great!!!

Our day started off outside of Green Bay and cut across WI.  It was a SPECTACULAR drive.  We've been in WI before, but not where we were today.   We went through the towns of Arcadia,  Alma. Pepin, and crossed the St. Croix into MN about 3:30.  It was simply a beautiful drive along one of America's Byways. 

It was sun up and top down all the way!!

Our daily treat was at Kathy's Drive In in Plover where we got ice cream!!!

Our friends Donn and Joanne were right behind us.

We met Al and Colleen at the Great Waters Brewery where we had dinner.  Then we walked to the Tin Whiskers Brewery where we had one drink and called it it night.
